This Sunday's ?Save the Sports? classic car show at East Bay Automotive will benefit the Friends of Townie Athletics and Project 106, organizations dedicated to saving the city's public middle school sports programs.?
And there will be special guests. The?Providence?Bruins?mascot, Samboni, will be on hand at the East Bay Automotive Classic Car Show. Samboni will be available to meet fans and pose for photos and customers will have the opportunity to register to win one-of-a-kind autographed Providence?Bruins?merchandise. Raffle winners will be announced during the first week of September.
The cost is a $5 for adults; children 12 and under are free. One hundred percent of the proceeds will benefit middle school athletics in East Providence.
?When: Sunday, July 22.?
- Car show takes place?10:30 a.m. ? 4:00 p.m.
- Providence?Bruins?on-site 10:30 a.m. ? 2:00 p.m.
- Samboni will be on hand from 11:00 a.m. ? 1:00 p.m.
