NEW HAVEN, Conn. ? The Yale men's swimming and diving team will welcome eight new team members into the fold this year.? Robert J.H. Kiphuth Head Coach of Men's Swimming and Diving Tim Wise, diving coach Chris Berg?re, assistant coach Kevin Norman and senior captain Jared Lovett have seven swimmers and one diver joining them for the 2012-13 season, a freshman class that was ranked 25th in the nation and third in the Ivy League according to a CollegeSwimming.com ranking from this past summer.
"It is never easy to follow a legend [Frank Keefe], but Tim Wise has a done a great job so far," reads Yale's section of the CollegeSwimming.com ranking list.? "He had a solid group of freshmen this past season and has added a great group for next year."? Check out the full list of rankings here.
The Bulldogs had freshman Kevin Stang (along with sophomore Rob Harder) competing at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials over the summer, and four of the eight freshmen are high school All-Americans.? Here is a closer look a the Class of 2016:
