John Krasinski and Emily Blunt have dropped $2.15M on a four-bedroom Colonial in Ojai, a scenic, mountainous city between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara that's been popular with people like actress Reese Witherspoon and Case Study architect Rodney Walker. According to the ever-breathless TMZ, Krasinski and Blunt's 4,100-square-foot home has giant solar panels (as evidenced by one listing photo), is "totally eco-friendly" (a dubious claim), and runs on "RENEWABLE ENERGY TECHNOLOGY!!!!" Either way, the actors will certainly be able to get their green thumb on: the property, site of the Ojai Foothills Hotel in the early 1900s, has five acres of hilly land, sits next to the Los Padres National Forest (a popular hiking destination for the famous and not-so-famous alike), and is within "walking distance to an organic farmers market." Cue the Jim Halpert eyeroll.
Meanwhile, Krasinski sold his cute little place in West Hollywood for $880K in June 2011 after originally listing it two years earlier for $1.25M.
